Parkin Senior Care provides for you and your loved ones the care you need, for the amount of time you need. Our customized care plans ensure that your needs are met by providing you with a tailor-made approach specifically for you. If you are unsure if home health care is what you need, we can provide you with an honest in-home consultation.

Companionship Care
Companion Care provides mostly emotional support and companionship for the elderly. If your loved one is generally healthy and living independently, companion care can provide extra support to make their lives more enjoyable. Caregivers also give families an additional resource to rely on, giving peace of mind that their loved ones are in good hands.
This range of non-medical services can include in-home social visits, accompanying the patient to visit others, grocery shopping assistance, or activities at local sites or parks. Caregivers can also provide medication reminders, assistance with chores around the home, and help to guarantee the patient’s safety. Other hobbies can also be continued with our Companion Care program, helping your loved ones to enjoy their golden years.
Leaving the house and social activities don’t have to end just because leaving the house has become more difficult. Our Companion Care programs will help your loved one get the most out of life.

Homemaker Care
If your loved ones need help with routine household tasks, consider our Homemaking Services. We can provide full-time home care or be a supplemental resource for your current family caregivers. You and your loved one can both be assured that daily life is safe and enjoyable by sharing the responsibilities of home care with our homemaker care professionals.
Our Homemaker Care can provide your loved one with meal planning and prep, washing dishes, doing laundry, and general cleaning. However, this isn’t an exhaustive list and our caretakers will work directly with you to make sure that your home care plan meets your needs. Consult with our homemaker caretakers to develop and enact a care plan that provides your loved one with a clean and safe home. We can work with you directly to make sure your full-time care or part-time supplemental help gives you and your loved ones exactly the care they need.

Hospice Care
Hospice Care provides your loved one with palliative care without curative intent. This means giving terminally ill patients the care they need to feel as comfortable as possible while also providing for their spiritual needs. Helping patients manage pain, accomplish daily tasks like bathing or getting dressed, and providing emotional support and companionship, our Hospice Caregivers do their best to make the patient at ease. Our caregivers are specially trained to help patients and their families through the difficulties of palliative care.
Matching the proper caretaker to each family is a cornerstone of our approach to hospice and palliative care. Considering the emotional impact for the patient and their families, our caretakers are carefully selected and placed with the most compatible families. We match you with the most compatible caretakers possible and provide extensive hospice care training. This further ensures that you and your loved one are receiving the best possible care at such a trying time.

Overnight Care
Our Overnight Care programs can provide your loved one with assistance before bed, as well as help getting ready to start their day. By providing a few hours of care each day, our caregivers also give others in the home the opportunity to better care for themselves and guarantee a good night’s sleep. This supplemental care program is great for busy families who desperately need time to prepare for their day by sharing care duties with our overnight caregivers.
This service includes a few hours each day, where the caregiver will come by the home and assist with various homemaking, companionship, and personal care duties for your loved one. Each night, the caregiver will help with bedtime preparations and then return in the morning to help again. Reach out for an in-home consultation if this service sounds right for you and your family. The Services include:
- Bathing
- Continence care

Personal Care
Personal Care is just that: very personal and intimate. Our approach to personal care starts by matching individuals with caregivers who have been screened to ensure great compatibility. Over time, our caregivers develop interpersonal relationships with your loved ones, ensuring that they are always comfortable, even in sometimes uncomfortable situations. You and your loved ones can be confident that their privacy, dignity, and personal safety are always our top priority.
Everyone deserves to feel safe and to enjoy privacy in their home, and our personal-care services provide this atmosphere of comfort and safety. We understand that continuity of care can be a concern, but we make our best effort to ensure that you and your caretaker stay together. And in the unfortunate circumstance that a new caregiver is provided, we apply the same rigorous and thorough matching process to guarantee the same high standard of care.

Fall Prevention & Safety
Many seniors suffer from mobility issues, and as such are at increased risk of injury from falling. Fall prevention equates to injury prevention and keeping your loved ones safe and healthy is our top priority. Our caregivers work with strict safety protocols to provide assistance and ensure that no falls occur while on duty.
We can also provide premium guidance to help prevent falls. Consider asking family members to keep walkways, stairs, and other common areas free of clutter and well-lit. Also, think about installing handrails, grab bars, and slip-resistant mats in areas that can be considered high risk. Our caregivers can give advice tailored to the needs of your home upon request. Also, consider asking your doctor about a light exercise regimen such as short walks or water workouts; the added strength and mobility gained can reduce fall risk and increase overall health

Activities & Social Living
Patients and the elderly often suffer from mobility issues and a lack of connection to the outside world, preventing them from enjoying life to its fullest. Conditions such as injury, arthritis, stroke, or others can severely hamper an individual’s ability to take part in activities and hobbies they used to enjoy. Our teams work hard to ensure a high quality of life for our patients, allowing them to experience the world and take part in their favorite activities. And when possible, we can help bring the outside world in, using technology to connect your loved ones to others.
Making sure that our patients are enjoying life is a priority for us. Bridging the connections that have been lost due to injury or old age can help enhance the quality of life for our patients. By pairing patients with specially matched caregivers, relationships are formed that help meet the social and spiritual needs of your loved ones.

Respite Care
Respite Care provides a much-needed break for a primary caretaker, such as a family member who has taken on the responsibilities of caring for an elderly loved one. By ensuring that the primary caretaker gets the rest they need, overall care for the patient improves and quality of life is increased for all involved. This assistance can come in the form of in-home care, stayovers at overnight facilities, or extra care at residential or nursing care centers.
Whether you find that one day a week “off” from caring improves your own physical and mental health, or find yourself in need of emergency respite care, our team will provide you with exactly the care you need, when you need it. Just always remember receiving respite care doesn’t mean you are shirking your responsibilities as a caretaker to your loved ones. It is simply a way to find the best balance for you and your family.

Hospital Transition Care
Recovery from treatment can be a long and difficult process, but the transitions can be eased through our Hospital Transition care. The leading cause of preventable readmissions is a poor transition from hospital to home. Avoid the pain and expense of returning to the hospital by allowing our care professionals to provide the care and assistance your loved ones need to make coming home safer.
We provide recovering clients with the non-medical support they need to meet their immediate needs as they make the transition from hospital to home. You and your loved ones will be at ease knowing that the move will be seamless, allowing your transfer to occur quickly and safely. Once home, we’ll provide you with education and care to ensure your transition remains safe and secure. You’ll be settling into your comfortable surroundings and be on your way to recovery with our Hospital Transition care.
